Skinnies for sunbird?
Thursday, April 28, 2005 6:14 PM
Hey guys i am picking up a sunbird 2.0 turbo...It comes with slicks but i am looking to pick up some skinnies for the rear....So if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great....I have been looking but have been having a hard time finding any sources.....Also what kind of suspension are you guys running on your sunbird's??? Also is there anywhere we can get some say 800 lbs. rear springs at i am sure that would be good for a tenth or two in the 60'.....Thanks guys

Call Summit Racing and order 15 x 3.5 Weld Race Lites and your tire of choice.

http://www.weldracing.com/Weld_Motorsports/wheels/sport_compact/rlD15.shtm

They were $211 each and come in the correct bolt circle. Don't forget to order lug nuts as well. Weld sells a lug nut kit for them with nice spacers and splined lug nuts.

Hoosier makes a good tire. 18090 or 18100 depending on what diameter slicks you are running.

You won't find either of the above on Summit's site, but just call them, and they'll drop ship the stuff.
