You suck at driving. Nuff said. 2.5 60' is horrible. I dunno...maybe your clutch is junk (if you have manual which I assume you do). You might alos want to get a FULL intake instead of the stock crap with a filter on the end......especially to go with that nice free-flowing header back exhaust you have.

Seriously practice your launch....you'd be around 15.8 with a 2.2 60'.

edit:

I see your other time with a "bronze stage I clutch"? What kind of clutch is this. Also...you had a worse 60' in that run but a faster 1/4 time.

You just need to get better at driving. Faster shifting and a good launch is the key!

Your r/t's aren't too hot, If you get out of the hold faster, I think you'll be way better. Before you launch, rev up to about 2.5 or 3 grand and then dump the clutch. Worked for me (running a Daikin clutch).

For answer to all

Sean Minnis:
5-speed Manual

Lash:
This is a Performance Clutch with better grip than the stock clutch

theL61:
Yes the altitude is 650 feet over the sea level, hot weather

The car is slipping the wheels to much at launch. I'll gonna practice my launch to avoid slip wheels so much, and try'll to shift faster..

If your struts are bad (you mention they need replacing) then that will hurt you off the line. The weight transfer will cause bounce which kills traction.

thats probably your problem

i pull faster 60' times in my 2.2 OHV, and my best run is only 16.8....mostly low 17's
