Auto X class question
Friday, September 09, 2005 12:13 AM
I drive an 03 ECOTEC Cavalier in STS.

I have been thinking about doing some things that would put me into the Street Prepared Classes.

I know the "ECOTEC NOC" is given in GS class so thats where the car is coming from.

I also know the Quad 4 J-body is specifically mentioned in DSP rules.

My question is would an ECO Cav be CSP under the "1.7 - 3.0 L naturally aspirated" catch all? If not what SP class would an ECO Cavalier be in?

Also what Prepared class would it be in.

Just hoping that somone on here that knows will post. Thank you in advance.

Well, I can't say for sure, but for my region (Atlantic Canada,), my '01 Z24 falls into a Quad 4 category, 16 valve 4 cylinder. I'm assuming that your car would be there as well.
But, this is just a guess.

I'm currently running here in DSS ( D Super Stock), middle of road between stock and street prepared. I'm actually leading the class right now with only 2 events remaining!
