if you want all motor, you're going to be dropping quite a bit in machine shop costs

you could do it yourself, but there's a lot of room for error when it comes to building an all motor car... its just a pain and you ALWAYS have to crack the engine open at one point

all motor before I did any internal work my best run was a 16.2 @ 83mph

with the ported head (specs in my registry) I cut a 15.7 @ 86mph

the car still has more in it, but there's some cooling issues/repairs I haven't addressed just yet, and my clutch is probably glazed or something and I have a leaky oil pan (haha) but rest assured it'll all be addressed and upgraded soon

if you want to make your car decently fast with low cost, I suggest researching turbo options theres plenty of posts in the boost forum about boosting OHVs with some essential bolt ons (some valvetrain stuff, induction, a turbo and some welding skill) your car will drop a second and a half I garauntee

it also depends on how much boost you run... but the OHV can be a very fast car with the right areas massaged.. just ask NJHK

ya....

that is what they call an "oil catch can" since I'm turbocharged and the induction system is pressurized, if I were to route it into the pressurized systen it would pull pressure out of the crank case causing a @!#$ up in pressure.... so to be "legal" here in Toronto, Canada I needed to install the oil catch can, it catches all the oil and lets the crankcase pressure release all at the same time..........

just for emission reasons.....

only like $35.00... to be legal.....

well now all I need is a muffler and a cat on my 3" haha ........
