First time at track with this cavy...
Thursday, December 08, 2005 8:34 PM
So i finally made it to the track tonight. Its only 1/8 mile, but it does in a pinch. The only mods on the car are a Weapon R secret weapon intake and a Lightened crank pulley. The car is a 2003 LS Sport Automatic with 18's on it. Best time was a 10.8. Kinda saddened me, because my 97 Z24 Auto ran 10.6 all night long, but i had intake and exhaust, and motor mounts, plus the car was lowered with 17's. guess ill have to throw some more parts at the car and see what happens over the next few months. By the way, Im down here in Florida, so if that makes a difference i dont know, but i have noticed that some have times in the 9s and have stock cars...

ya when my friend had a 4 door 04 sunfire manual and i have 99 sunfire gt, i would gain a full car length in first, but at the end of each gear, he picks back up and by the time governer kicks in, he is at front wheel.
