tiers have a max PSI of 50psi and a seating pressher of 60, i ran it at 45lbs becasue i wanted to know how i would do in real life, @!#$ my 60' was 2.00, not to bad for elcheepo tiers.

did you get him off the line? a 2.00 60ft is forkin good. If he got you otta the hole then he must have been on drag slicks or something!

so you get your tranny fixed?

i personally wouldnt be too proud. you are running a boosted car and he isnt. ya you beat him. But ,put a jackson racing s/c on his car to be equal with your s/c'd car and you would probably see taillights.

arguement goes both ways, but i commend you for shutting someone up.

Who cares if the other dude had a bad run or a great run. He still won and thats all that counts. You could line up next to John Force and if he red lighted leaveing the line guess what you would have beat him. Who care s how you win? A win is a win.

Vtec is not overrated its just that the majority of the people that own hondas think that they are the @!#$. they are not i personally own a honda and i know that there is always a possibility of me getting beaten by some one else . thats why i became open minded and got a 1987 camaro with a 1975 350 small block and boy ill tell you i love it!!

To me Vtecs are overrated. My cousin put a 1.8L GSR V-Tec Engine on his 96 Honda Civic.I was at a party with him. He was talking about my cavalier. Why would i fix one up etc. I didn't really pay attention to him because well other people's opinions never mattered to me. He kept talking and what got me was that he started telling all his friends in front of everyone.

So I challanged him. He didn't feel up to racing my cavalier but he didn't want to race my eclipse. There is this one street that runs straight near where I live and its about 1/4 of a mile. Well i beat him about a car length. This really pissed him off so we did it two more times and it was the same result. After this he still said that he could still be my cavalier so i went to my house and picked it up. We raced and i bet him just by the fender. I just love it when u shut up a guy who talks.

I did beat him but what sucked was when i was going home the car started to feel a lil funny. When i would stop i would feel little shakes like when u need a tune up. After i dropped my friend home i heard a little knock. Well it turned out that i @!#$ up a piston.... But it was well worth.....

yes, it could go both ways....... the guy was running a LS/Vetec......... strap a HO head and cams on a 2.4....... and the race could go in the cav's fav.... w/o boost in either case.......

hes supercharged..

but yeah watch out for ls vtecs.. specially in light cars..and if they have b16 trannys.. those are so short and wrap out so @!#$in fast.
my buddy has a 92 teg stripped with only 2 seats in it with a ls/vtec. itr cams, ctr pistons and forged rods with a b16 lsd. from a roll we would be pretty even when i was on 8psi till about 4th then he would start pulling.


he would start pulling on you because the weight advantage.... you said he was GUTTED.... that is the SOLE reason why

I run a curb of 2350lbs.... in my CAVALIER........... GUTTED TO @!#$ .... as a daily driver........

it's MUCH faster like this ........ thats why I do it !
