i think its a matter of tracton for the Cobalt SS. the one i raced at a track had a 60 foot time of 2.5. i had a 2.2
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I almost purchased a Cobalt SS, but I didn't sign the papers because the dealership was trying to screw me. From my driving experience (they let me drive it for a day), it was pretty quick. I'm sure I could squeeze a 14.5 out of it.. And yes, I'm a good driver.
"Sig under construction"
Saab Turbo Project.... Nearing completion.
and then add in there that they have those heavy ass 18's...im damn sure that if you put a set of 16in 5zigen FN01R-C's on there and some sticky tires your times will drop a @!#$ load....just my 2 cents...
^&^ agreed
around here the SS supercharged are runnin 14.7-15.0 they have 18s right
BUT
the SS NON supercharged is runnon 14.9-15.2 but then they only have 17's but really is it worth the extra money for the boost......
I still think so lol the sounds worth it
i would buy a ss non super then throw a turbo on. or just buy the 2.4 VVT and put it in my car. this is a little off topic but want size BFG drag rags you running. i mean to ask what size is better 14" or 15"

i wasent impressed with it considering its got a biger intercooled charger.
Chris
thats pretty suckie if you only beat him by 2 cars , and you got that 13.9 in your sig
my auto has beat 2 different cobalt ss/sc's , the best race was 14.72 @ 98 him , and 14.56 @ 94 me
and im still running 5-7 psi with my proto type gm s/c kit , both ss/sc's have a intake
most around here run in the 14.6-15.0 range
The cobalt SS is already a Twin scroll S/C correct?

whoa..
9.5:1 compression on the cobalt?!
both the SS and SRT-4 look to be pig heavy in stock trim, but doesn't the SS come with, well, just about everything?
yeah, pop some light 15s or 16s with decent tires on that puppy and let's see what it can do.
...and about that spoiler...
*sigh*

The spoiler is the only thing i dont like about that car. Wheels should have been a tinny bit smaller too. But wouldnt an SRT4 have cheaper insurance cuz of the 4 doors?
