I want to get into auto-x. What do I need (helmet,books, etc..) and what might be a good idea to have. Also, Is there anything on my car I need to remove to auto x.

Another Question. I want to get coilovers. And obviously it will be better to go with a complete system, but because of the large price tag I cant. If I just get the ground control coilovers for the stock strut/shocks is that going to cause any problems as long as I dont lower it too much ( like more than 2 in) or should I just stick with stock untill I can aford the complete setup.
the coilovers will blow the stock struts. Your better off just running in your stock configuration because your weight transitioning will be horrible on blown struts with a drop, worse than running stock. Don't half ass suspension ever. other than tires it's what connects your car to the road.
