Now this in no way shape or form is going to take place. That being said my manager seems to think his 2003 impala v6 will with out a doubt smoke my car in the quarter. What do you think. I think at best it would be a close race but I would win. Check my reg for the mods, he's BONE stock.

You'll beat him. My sister has a 2004 impala with the 3.8 and it's nowhere near as quick as my car.

Lets put it this way. He has an under powered tug boat with that V-6 sitting under his hood. EVEN tho yours is an econo box you'll still wax his ass ! I don't even bother to waste my time with Impalas unless they say SS on them and I still give them a fit !
Oh they may or may not beat me but the fact that me in my little ECO powered Cavi can give them hell is pure fun !

I beat a V6 either 02 or 03 Impala, all it had was a filter. Suprisingly out of the hole we were even, and then after 2nd I started pulling away. I didn't even have half the mods I do now either.

If its not an SS he will loose, provided your not a craptastic driver.
However I garuntee you in a lineup of guys with women looking to start families, his impala with 4 doors would blow you away. He'd get the hottie wanting to make kiddies and you'd get some chick with an attitude problem

Now if he had say a 96 impala SS, I would just slowly walk away and pretend like nothing happened.
