I ran a 15 .6 with no cat, 4-1 headers and cold air intake. I think not having any back preesure is slowing me down! What do yinz think?

Watch out there nah!

well i was at Quaker City Raceway in Ohio today and the tracked kind of sucked IMO. The end of the track started to go uphill at the end. So needless to say it was a slower track, but none the less here are my results of a BONE Stock Ecotec!

.638
2.333
6.707
10.341
67.66
13.377
16.118
84.53

All this with 14's on, and trunk emptied out. I had a better 1/4 time of 16.106, but my 60' was just a tad bit worse at 2.359.

Dude, that's close as hell to my times, except you suck @ teh R/T
Stock Eco 5spd, I still had my sub in my trunk and I was using Goodyear Eagle GT-HR on the drive wheels. Street tire pressure, didn't lower it for the track. I didn't even get a good launch because the guys at E-Town were manually starting the tree, and starting it as soon as both cars lit up the 2nd set of staging lights.

where were you shifting at? I shifted everytime when i looked and seen 6K, so it was prolly more around 62-6300.

I was shifting right before I hit the rev limiter.

Track prep that day was pretty bad. One of the guys I drove out there with was running 12.5's in his Corvette last season. He had exactly the same setup this season, except for a gear swap. He should have been running 12.3's, but was running 12.7's.

I'm a 325 lb. dude and I ran a 15.9 1/4 ET with my huge amp-rack, capacitor, and full interior (total of about 3200 lbs.) (02 Ecotec). I have had my engine rebuilt but I don't know what parts went into it. By the sounds of these other ET's my engine is a little bit overhauled. 15.9 seems to be normal for an average sized person with an empty trunk and an I/E setup. I had consistant 2.4 second 60 foot times.

man, I feel slow looking at some of these times. I did a 14.61 @ 94.33 mph, and I have a supercharger, and was using drag radials. tho I think my slipping clutch may have something to do with it

I ran 14.62 @ 94.28 my first time at the track with the S/C, it was on street tires (Goodyear Eagle GT-HR) with the recommended pressure for street use. Any launch over 2k would just spin them excessively.

Thats wierd how you spend a Grand or two and it only takes off a Sec of your time. but yet if you raced a S/C'd you would get youse ass handed to ya lol

went ....only ran an 15.81@ 88.8mph w/ 2.32 60 ft. ... my next mods will definatly be launch related. 18 runs and thats the best 60 ft. i could pull. all spin no matter what rpm i launched at.

with my old 2.4 sunfire i could at least pull a 2.19 60 ft.
