14.274@97.66mph on a muggy day

Well, I think the track was a bit slow last night. It was really warm and muggy and my trap speeds were 2mph slower the last week. Even tho I still ran 14.2 and 14.3s but with my best 60 ft so far on the 14.2 Theyy shut down the races when it started to cool off b/c a guy blew his motor and it started to rain.

Anyhow, got a run (his only 1) again travis(in a 3400 2gen), and did a 14.274@97.66mph with a 2.179 60ft vs his 14.495@96mph with a 2.14960ft.

Ran 2 14.35x@96.x mph with 2.25 60fts. A 14.503@97.05mph witha 2.310 60ft, and @!#$ the bed on one run trying to do a street launch and ran a 14.785@97mph with a 2.502 60ft.

Most of my launches were from 2500-3000k and I was just starting to get a good 60ft when the rain came. The temp and muggyness were going down, and im sure if I could have run another 2.1 60ft, I would have netted my best 1/4mile time.

Guess ill have to wait to next week.

Thanks Owen.
Only saw one of clays runs on slicks and it was a 14.9. Missed the rest of his times.
