Darren has been really with his non-racing life, i.e. work, wife and kids. I'll give him a call and see how his car is doing. Just so everyone knows, his car is a pure racecar. Gutted interior, wheelie bars, detachable front end, and so on.

Yes it is Darren's car I was referring to. I did not mean to say he could run 10's, but he has sure proved that a stock bottem end LD9 can run 11's. I remember hearing he had a motor being built for the car. Track or Street car is does not matter for this event.

Yea, I can care less weather it is a pure drag car as long as it is a FWD configuration, some beg to say that my car is a drag car yet it is my only daily driver but we will not get into that.
Whatever works for people, I can care less about heat AC and all that other crap, but others like it and they have no right to complain about me not having it.

My car has no intake (building a ghetto ram air cai), half a header, and it seems like more parts in a brown truck or machine shop than on the car...
Just need to order an air filter, fuel pump, nitrous controller... fill the bottle and buy 5 gallons of race gas and everything I need to dyno is there. Can a nitrous car compete with the hair dryers?
Chassis stuff will have to come during race season I suppose... I'm getting booted out of the track at least once

It is hard for Nitrous cars to compete just because Nitrous is so hard on your motor.
You need to spray a 200 shot to catch me or if I am in my prime more like 250 shot. I spray too, don't forget boys and girls.
I love Nitrous and Turbo they love eachother. lol
