Yep, a long time goal for me was finaly reached yesterday at a T&T session at the local drag strip. Was a decent day, temps in the middle 70s and we started with a fairly stiff head wind that died down as the night went on. Car wasn't as quick on street tires as it was the trip before (14.3s at 97-98 vs. 14.1s 99-100 last time) due to some spark and very minor fuel changes on the chip I think. So I decided to get used to the drag radials. They are an inch shorter than stock and do require a very late shift to 4th, even with a 7600 rpm redline. Had I gotten everything for the laptop before I left, a chip change with an 8k limit would have fixed all that and probably would have gone faster. I suppose that will be for next week when I go back. Anyways, launching at 5500 and having it stick on DRs is a trip, and helped get the .3 needed. Here are the 3 best times of the night...

You sure you were looking at the right car??? Because he has a rather extensive mod list for this car. I wouldn't say it looks like it was "easy" at all.
