Went to the track today
Saturday, November 03, 2007 2:45 PM
Got there about two hours late and only made two runs, but it was better than nothing I guess.

First run 13.40@105.5 ~8psi
Second run 13.44@104.5 ~8psi
60" was 2.0x something for both runs with 15psi in the bfg Drag radials
Not bad for turning the boost down to 8

What size BFGs ? I have been debating on what size to get and what rim size to use. With those trap speeds you should be able to get 13.0s. My best 60' time is 2.45, lol I run 15.01 @ 93.65 mph.

Thanks guys! I'm still using the stock fuel pump, although I'm not sure how long it can take the abuse.

I'm not 100% sure exactly what rpm I launch at, but atleast above 3K. or somewhere between 3 & 4 thousand. As long as it doesn't bog down your golden. But you have to control the wheelspin. The only problem is that my tach can't keep up with the engine so I almost have to go by ear for the 1-2 shift.

The 15psi jumped at me right away, I thought it was 15psi on the engine lol, guess I need to pay a lil more attention. Nice runs man.

What do you mean when you say "I'm still using the stock fuel pump, although I'm not sure how long it can take the abuse."

Your fuel pump is a fixed displaement pump. Regardless of how much fuel you're consuming, it will still pump (XX)LPH of fuel @ (XX)PSI. With that being said, you are not taxing your fuel pump by using what it produces.

In case the engine needs more fuel that the pump can supply then it is screwed. They didn't design the stock pump to keep up with a turbocharged engine.
