Seen you run this weekend May 10th to be exact. Nice times but you broke out in the 5th round? I think? lol bad memory......Although I did notice your time's kept getting slower through the rounds? I wasn't racing I was watching and was gonna come talk to you after your last run but I couldn't find your car? But great job either way.

Re: Good Job Ben!!!!

Yes i did break out in the fith round, i went 13.68 on a 13.72 dial @ 102 something the other guy ended up losing in the final round. Im just thinking the car was only slowing up a few hundreds every run, think i dialed a 13.66 in the forth round and went 13.71 @ 103. i was going to make a post with all my runs, maybe later, but all in all fastest run i think was 13.62 @ 103 slowest i think was 13.71 @ 102.

Yea come chat w me, im pretty much in the same spot near the gas pumps ill be racing next weekend Sat and Sun and then a 3 day race after that Sat Sun Mon

If you took any pics send them to sales @ allecotec.com

See ya soon

Yeah I was impressed! I was reading your profile and seen your from Freeland...I live in Auburn and I play poker out in Freeland by Apple Mt once a month. Never seen your car or anything on here was kinda weird to see it at the track and when I saw allecotec on the side I was like Karo? lol Then I came home and and searched your name announcer was like who said you cant have fun in a 4 cylinder so true I kinda miss mine. You may have just made me wanna go buy another and build one.

But I might be up there for the Memorial weekend thing not sure yet. I know my Step dad is trying to finish his 81 Malibu for it ....but if I do go ill be sure to come find ya

HHR's have bronze tips...on first and second gear....and can be put in third and forth blah....
I killed the plastic tip in third in my HHR, and the dealer put a bronze one from second gear on the third gear fork.
I hope that all made sense.

Oh?
what trans?
00-08 F23's all use the same P/N for shift forks, as do 05-08 F35's, the "tips" are not serviceable.

I looked all over GM SI, and talked to GM Part-Tec..... no one could tell me that this was true....
Got a PN?
Chris

No, I went back a few months after they installed them, and no one at the dealer could find the part numbers. I "know" they exist. I have seen them with my own eyes. I tried to track some down for John Higgins but no one could find them, and they all told me I was crazy. The dealer showed me my demolish plastic one, and the plastic and new bronze tipped forks. The bronze one and plastic one where exactly the same.

I know they exist, but I Wish I could help more.
My HHR is an 06' build in 05' with a L61 Ecotec, and a F23 five-speed manual transmission.

For some reason I remember something about a Saab....????

I have been workin w Karo for 4 years now, just kinda worked out with the allecotec deal. It really made some interesting conversations at the TVR Shootout last June and GM Tuner Bash last July, the site was hardly up yet

So you heard the car go down the strip? how does it sound? It really does have a muffler (Magnaflow 14161) but its the custom 4-1 step header and megaphone that makes all the noise.

See ya there

Sorry guys

I lost my Lane Automotive points lead this weekend, going into the weekend i was tied for first. Dave and I talked about taking matters into our hands and taking the bull by the horns, thats what i did. First round first pair i took on the guy i was tied with and came up short both Sat and Sun. I dont have the time slips in hand, Saturday - I dialed 13.86 and went 13.859 (brokout by .001) and he was safe by .003 (think 12.07 and went 12.073) then he went on to win a few more rounds. Sunday - I dialed 13.80 and went 13.86 and think he dialed 12.11 and went 12.12 hard on the brakes, then he went on to runner up for the day, both very good runs for both of us, we are now 3-3 in head to head matchups. This comming weekend is a 3 day points race, i hope to close the gap, it would take alot of luck to take back the lead, but i can do it !

If your in the area come up and show some front wheel drive support !

Was at the dealer...and they couldn't find anything in there computer. @!#$ BS. They looked at me like I was crazy. They told me if it was performed it would be in the computer. They then told me if anything is wrong will its under warranty and something breaks, and they see it was tampered with.....the warranty is void.

I almost punched the guy in the face. I was to pissed to ask any other questions and left....before I got myself into trouble. I'll be back there this weekend to take to there manager. He is on Vaca...
