I have a 98 z24 2.4twin and with a glasspack muffler and short ram intake and my cousin has a newest model (not sure of age) Z24 Ecotec with a cold air intake. Who should win? My car has probably double the mileage... but ,my car is riced out that has to account for at least 204 Hp JK my car doeshave a sub box weighing it down though.

If you had searched you would find that this is an age old question as old as the ecotec itself. It's been discussed over and over and over and over and over again. If both cars are equally modded it comes down to the driver.

Me and a buddy went to the track and he has an 04 Eco, I have an 01 Z.. I launched on him and he started pulling but never caught up, from what i hear this about how it works out most of the time, but its a drivers race for sure

Well this one was terribly slow,it must have been wore out or somthing.But how much different is the 2.3 and the 2.4?And taetsch no I dont wanna race your 2.3......lol.And thrice I really doubt a 01 2.4 z24 will make me shart bricks...
