LN2 15.9 1/4 mile
Thursday, January 08, 2009 6:05 PM
I'm just curious, I want to know if a cavalier with a 2200 sfi can run 15.9 at the 1/4 mile. With no engine modification example; a big light weight like (only the dash and a light weight seat (sparco, momo, bride)), light weight rims, drop , drop radial, lower and upper engine mount.

What do you think about this ?

I ran 16.44 sec completely stock with my 2200 sfi

sure it could if you gut it and run a short drag radial.

please don't completely gut a stock car with a goal of running 15.9.

Well 100lbs is worth 1/10th a second so you would need to lose 500lbs. I don't see that happening without extensive weight reduction. And we're talking beyond interior and wheels.

Don't let the punks get to you. If they can't say anything helpful its because they probably
have VERY LITTLE IF ANY MECHANICAL SKILLS . Talking crap is just their way of hiding that
fact. They figure the more crap they say the less likley anyone will know how dumb they are.

Ok so i hear you want to run 15.9 well a while back in april i ran at high school drags and with eagle 15's with 205/50/15's and an custom intake with a header with full 2 1/4 exhaust all the way back i ran this:

i know you don't want to run any mods to the engine but i belive you will need to unless your all polly and droped with drag radial's and a good driver you might be able to pull it off.

good luck and don't gut the car to run that slow of times. i'm full interior and a full tank of gas when i went out last time. so you can
do it

ho thanks, I think it's possible to run 15.9 with stock engin, it's not my project, because I swap my LN2 for a ecotec supercharge but me and one of my friend can probably try this with my friend z22's just because we are curious
