i know this may sound stupid but does anyone know if you can take a 2.3 throttle body and put it on a 2.2? i dont think you can but im just trying to find some stuff out for my race car.

Suppose to be a direct bolt up. I'm wondering if the 2.4 tb would work as well. I have 2 of them sitting in the garage.
hmmm im going to take one off my 2.4 and see if it works on my 2.2. if it does i think it would be better n-e ways

Madjack, I've searched but all I could find was people swapping 2.3 tb on 2200's. Do u know if the 2.4 tb will also work? ( sorry to thread Jack)
the 2.4 tb is only 52mm and wouldn't be much of a use. plus it has 4 mounting holes whereas the 2.3 has two.

Gotcha, but the 2.4 does bolt up directly and uses all 4 holes in case anybody was wondering. Forgot i had a spare manifold laying around, held it up to it and all 4 holes lined up perfectly. The local pick n pull has all kinds of 2.3's guess i'll go get a throttle body.
Also you get a strong wistle through out the low to mid RPM range.
