I'm building a 1998 Cavalier Enduro car and want to use a quick release steering wheel. I got a weld on hub and I'm not quite sure of the best way to install it. Can anybody help me out?

A better option would have been any NRG quick release hub. I love NRG products very good quality.

That's obvious, but there is a spring that holds the shaft up and it's not so clear what to do with it.

maybe i can help leave the spring take the steering wheel lock plate and take off the notches so the wheel cant lock put plate back and lock back down with wire clip be sure it locks the plate back on and place the hub over the steering shaft center it and weld it to the shaft and plate on back side of hub and in center. Hope this helps
