Higher PSI Coolant Cap

Does anyone make a coolant cap for a 2.4L that can hold more pressure than the standard 15-18psi?

This way my car wont over heat as quickly on the very hot summer days during the 100lap enduro's.

Also will this cause my head gasket to blow easier if I do start overheating, since there is more pressure in the system?

Thanks in advance.

Curt

what are you running for coolant? actual coolant mix or just water or a mix of something?

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

Maybe mess with some Ethylene Glycol mixing to get the boil over temp higher. Also consider using a taurus or alero fan with a custom shroud if you notice you have your heat issue when driving in heavy traffic on the track.
