weight and percentages

Hello I am currently building a 2001 cavalier with a 2.2 5speed and we are close to finishing the car so we put it on the scales lastnight just to see what kind of percentages it had and what we weighed. does anyone have a reference as to what their percentages were when their car handled the best? we will be running both asphalt and dirt so any input will be greatly appreciated. we have to weigh 2500lbs and can only have a max of 54% cross weight on the asphalt our dirt rules are pretty much what ever as far as the weight and percentages go. thanks a bunch, Jason

sorry we got busy running the car and beating out dents. the rules say if you are 2200 cc you have to weigh 2500 and I was talking with a guy in the pits and found out that the motors if you look at the specs are actually less than that however we don't have much more weight to get rid of. and we cant run a dohc ecotec or vetch engines because they are two "high performance".
