Don't take it personally bro. I didn't mean that as a shot at you. I'm just trying to keep this thread in the spirit of the racing forum.

I didn't take it personally, i just thought it was funny. This post is about cars you've beaten, which in my eye means on the street or else it would just be another post asking about time slips. I race my car every chance i get and i don't always have time to go to the track.

Where is this "versus forum" you speak of? <br>

In my first post I asked for times.

As for the versus forum link... it's right there on the menu between "Suspension and Brake" and "group purchase".

I beat a new GTO at the 1/8 track we go to. Some 16 year old guy was driving it, apperantly, he didn't know how to drive a 6 speed. My 10.4 to his 13.xxx (it really was that bad). It was hillarious, EVERYONE at the track was laughing.

I think those types of races are the most fun. I mean, it's all about the tree and the skill of the driver at that point.

Well, I technically beat a wrx. The wrx could only muster a 10.2 in the 1/8th mile. I ran a 10.126 1/8th. Seperate runs, but that were our best runs. lol

Frankly, so would I be if I owned one. AWD can give you an amazing launch but it also opens you up to breaking all sorts of expensive stuff.

AWD isn't made for drag launching. At least with 2WD when you give it too much power, you'll probably just break the wheels loose and burn out. No harm done. With AWD you don't burn out. You break stuff.
