Wosca Winter Slalom #2

Wow, what an interesting event. When we arrived, the lot was still snow covered, but conditions changed rapidly. Through the day we progressed to patches of bare lot, and then to a clean but wet racing line, bordered by 3 inches of snow. This made for some tricky racing. If you got off the clean line by even a couple of inches, you would either bog down or spin out.

Wosca Winter Slalom #2

I managed to squeek out a second place, even though my driving wasn't very consistent. Modfire placed a pretty respectable 19th, very nice for a stock car.

This gives me a 2nd overall in the series, since one of the 4WDs has won his class in both events so far.

Just to let you know, Im using your results to scare the locals before the start of our own winter series hehehe... see here here

We are running our winter series on abandoned airstrip nearby - how sweet is that

That's awesome! I feel pretty cool now...

That airstrip sounds like an awesome venue for an autocross. I wish I lived closer to you, that'd be sweet to run.
