Keeping it in gear and letting off the gas or popping it in neutral and "coasting".

I shift to 5th and let the clutch out. It's no worse than going 104 on the highway and just letting off the gas. Besides, even that little bit of engine braking really saves the brakes . Depending on which track I'm at, I'm already down to 80 or so before I have to start braking.

I usually pop it out of the gear and bring the RPM's down a little and start down sifting.
I don't like my brakes taking it all up..... the.

Well brakes are a little less expensive and easier to replace than a clutch.

For god sakes save the engine and smack it in neutral.... makes life easier for the valve terrain and the engine in general. you guys dont run enough MPH to really worry about the brakes.
