How do the rest of the m62 guys fair against ls1 cars?

Im pullied with a 3.0, full exhaust, 36's with fuel pressure bumped to 56 at idle. with the gm crapflash.

I was expecting to get RAPED. But he only pulled me by about a car from a 60 roll, (on a closed track) and i got him by a car or so until the 1/8th mile then he caught up and had me by about a car at the line.

I pull even with my friends ls2 gto, it depends on who gets the jump and not messing up the shift from 2-3. Racing him is how I destroyed my shift fork on the 2-3 shift.

Which shift fork did you mess up?

1 and 2 share a fork, and 3 and 4, and 5 and reverse.

Not sure. I've got no gears. I slammed the shift gate between 1 and 3 pretty hard.

Ahh well that tranny is going to get pulled apart, fixed and get a diff.

I would guess 2. That is the common one. I wore my tips on the 1-2 fork. Which lead to fing up the gear set it's self.

I don't have the setup you're talking about, but my expected ET off my swap and mph are pretty comparable, I think. I ran a 14 flat on street tires w a 2.1 60', and I'm usually down by about a car and a half to my buddies LS1 TA . Ofc its got intake, and exhaust. But as far as I know thats it. (Hope this is atleast semi-usefull)
