my trunk lid Vs run away wheel (no 56k)

just as the subject says, the guys rim fell off and hit my parked car.....

I would have rathered it go through the glass, insurance covers it with no deductible.

I'm not quite sure I follow this..... a guys rim fell off what? his car, the back of a truck? How did it land on your trunk!?

tires tend to bounce when they hit the ground , and keep bouncing depending on how high it fell from

the tire came off a early 80's boat-of-a car. hos lug came off, the tire rolled/bounced 70 yards and hit my car.
