I had a car a few years ago with only liability, and I still had comprehensive coverage, which will cover glass damage, vandalism and theft from vehicle.

Theft insurance is for theft of the car, not the articles inside.

if he has that, it will cover his dashboard and front dash peices that were broken, but not his radio. aftermarket audio is an add-on, and not offered by all insurance companies. i know because i was robbed once, and did all the research. now i have the add-on. they made me fax them pictures of the install, and all the reciepts.

This is why I dont have handles or locks. If someone wants in my car bad enough they just have to break a window. I dont even have an alarm. I mean whats the point my handles and locks are shaved.
Thx,
Michael

Thats too bad , and sorry to hear, but it still doesnt add up to the last weekend for me,
1st the rear tire had a low out, then I got a cracked window, and then that night at a 5 star hotel it got boken into and they stole all my ids, debit cards, the keys to the cavalier, my college books, and the key lock to the 22s. Then when hit a deer on the way home causing 5000 in damage. All of this happen in less than 48 hours and to the truck. And to top that my husband had to drive 8 1/2 hours to bring me another set of keys for the cavie so we could get it back on the trailer after the show. So it could have been worse for u. The police said that they were after the car and we planning on stripping everything the next night when I had the car on the trailer outside the hotel. At least I won Best of Show and Best Female, but now I have decided to retire for the show season and start over next year. Well glad to hear you are fine and believe me it could have been worse

i dunno how it is with cavs......but ive had my car broken into about 3 times or so....
last time was a $4,000 system taken.

Doesnt matter if u got shaved handles and doors. All they gotta do is pop out the top of that b-pillar cover and slide the window out of the track. I bet i could do it in about a minute with a coat hanger or somethin similar....my locks have never been touched.

Im still payin for a deck i dont even own....its great....

That really sucks. Sorry to hear it. But if you look at the pictures since that piece is pulled up you could make a bad ass dash. maybe angle teh broken peice out or something. Or glass it again to make it the same. But i would glass it so that maybe the stereo could sit angled toward the driver or have it at an angle toward teh back of the car.

^^^^^I just gave my second CD player to the friend who's car got broken into next to mine. I even replaced his window for $25.
And yes, my car is for sale.
