ok so this is a kind of long story so consider yourself forwarned...
as some of you know 3 days before last years bash about 3 months after i bought my cavi a drunk driver hit me and totaled the passenger side. So not only was i beyond pissed about my car but i had to show up to the bash in a mopar, which i thought i was going to get shot for lol...anywho the car went into the shop where it stayed for almost 3 months, went back about 7 times cause i kept finding things wrong with it, and about 6500.00 bucks later i picked her up. Now why she wasnt totaled is beyond me. so anywho push forward till about the first of october this year. im headed out on my break at my part time job, and in the parking lot as i walk out to my car i see this huge scratch, from the fender to the end of the door, again on the passenger side. so a women in the parking lot saw it happen and tells me she wrote down the plate number from the van that hit me...so again back to the body shop for over a month.. Now, ive had the car back id say about 3 weeks to a month and you'll never guess what happend..........been hit AGAIN!!! This time by a worcester correctional officer and again at work, this time at my full time job...so he backed up square into my front end pushing my hood in and making it look like a pyramid, broke both headlights, pushed back both fenders, cracked my front neon, broke my radiator, fan and radiator support, and scratched and chipped my bomex front to @!#$, so now its sitting at the body shop with another estimated repair of 4000.00 or more and in the meantime the first rental they gave me @!#$ the bed within 24 hours and now im stuck driving a ford...sigh...pics to follow later on today...why is it that people like to hit me i mean dayum im bright enough that they should be able to see me no matter what....ok end of rant

lol if i had the $$ for a new one and my credit wasnt shot i would get it back and sell it privatly and go get a cobalt, but i promised myself no new car till i pay some other bills off first and try to regain the perfect credit i used to have, till then i guess i have to deal with being hit at least this much

Sorry to hear that, Mine has been in and out of body shops as well, (never my fault). Some one vandalized mine on freaking christmas eve. there goes another $500 Deductiable.

Hey, i know how you feel, mine is 2 years old and been in the shop 3 times, but damaged a few more times than that. good luck with it. as much as mine has been damaged, im afraid to get rid of it cuz it is still going and if i do get rid of it, i think it will come back and haunt me

was it cars that hit you, or trucks? I know the CEO of the company I work for almost slammed the heck out of my car because he backed out in front of me full throttle, stopping about 2inches from my bumber, then was like. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you"
I worry about trucks/suv's/vans because a lot of the people driving them, don't know the proper precautions to take when turning the wheel and applying pressure to the gas pedal.
My little brother had the same kind of issues with his sunfire, in and out of body work for a good 6 months. Most recent damage was a piece of drywall that hit the front of his car while he was going down the highway. Some cars are just cursed.

It was a van that hit her, I don't understand how everyone keeps hitting her the car is BRIGHT YELLOW. The car is doing fine they're repainting it now, and it will have the BC2 kit on it, probably in the spring time because of all the salt and snow in Mass., but who knows, Amanda may want to take my truck and put the kit on it as soon as it gets out of the shop.
