Have you thought about buying it back, buying another j body and transferring all the parts over? Its alot of work but saves you doing a bunch of work trying 2 fix it then not passing a safety inspection or something like that.

It's an ECONOBOX, so it probably will get totaled and if you are dumb and retarded enough to buy it back and even dumber to fix it you will have to have a salvage title and after repairs are finished it will need an inspection to get a regular title and you'll be lucky to get insurance on that POS again!

I didn't even bother buying another car after mine was totaled; we get alot of snow here and you need 4WD, so I just use my dad's truck in the winter; my econocar (my '87 Cav) gets put away. Like Eric Francis said above--take the insurance money and get another one; they're a dime-a-dozen!
