the chevrolet 350 smallblock is the best engine ever made for many reasons.

-more sold and used than any other engine EVER
-Capable of serios numbers with the right modifications
-Unlimited aftermarket-how deep are your pockets cause you can keep going
-cheap horsepower-a brand new gm performance parts small block retials for $1,899- thats 290 horsepower for less than 2 grand
-Dont forget that this includes all gm 350 engines-LS1-LT1-LSX-L-98
-Unreal engine

Whoa, what kind of mullet heads dont even consider the 4G63T on a list of best motors ever made.. Many have ran 10 second ET's on stock motors..

But I guess cause morons do stupid things to them and whine because they break its a bad motor.

No the problem is kids with no little knowledge and money whom are able to easily get their hands on them, who then normally do half-ass mods and abuse them to only later bitch and whine about their garage decoration, which guess what, they don't have the money to fix. Haha, at least locally.

If j-bodies came factory boosted we would of had the same dilemma.

Yes and no. The 4.3 has quite a few changes from just a short 350. The 96-08 4.3 has a few more (I believe that 96 was the first year for a balance shaft, but cold be wrong) and is a very nice engine.
