I was disaapointed every time i drove a c4 corvette. For the hype i would have hoped they would handle well, brake well, be fast, look good- or do something well at least. Never been very enthusiastic about that style in general. Does suck that the engine cant be used for a build/swap though.

Hey, don't ask us. Ask the US dealers, US factories that manufactured them, US suppliers that provided parts, transportation drivers that delivered them, junk yards that got them the clunkers.
And if this C4 went in, there must have been numerous reason that the owner must have had for it to the grave.
Its stupid to junk any car thats in solid mechanical condition which obviously it was because it took that long to kill it and it sounded healthy. I'm sure alot of 3rd gen f-body owners would have been happy to take that engine.
