The sad part is that in many places the guy would go to jail for hitting her. I had to bail a friends brother out of jail because his wife (now ex) was beating on him and he hit her once. It sounds stupid but in damn near every case the guy go to jail and the bitch gets off free.

I have to agree. I'm gussing Miss Snit here had a history of flying off the handle, thus the ready videocamera and restrained approach of the guys. Of course, we don't know much of the backstory here either, and there's about a million other possible extenuating circumstances. Very relevant context may be missing from our entertaining vid clip.
In any case, my guess is she plea bargains to community service hours, restitution, and Anger Management classes that the court will order her to pay for. That is, if this is her first offense. She'll pay for the cars too. The insurance company will pay out, and then sue her for the total.
With any luck at all, she'll learn something.

What I'm thinking is that the guy holding the camera was her brother, or brother in law, because he said "I already called dad" or something like that. And clearly the guy holding the kid "@!#$ her good" or something along those lines. I wouldn't be able to be as cool as that guy did, especially if she was swinging at my kid like that while I held him or had something thrown at them. I'de tie her up to a pole until the cops got there.
It seemed as if that guy had delt with that situation before.
But yeah, there has to be a backstory to this as both dudes remained incredibly calm and many of the things they got on the recording were pretty incriminating (endangering the welfare of a child, "don't drive you'll get a DUI).
Judging by the calmness of the guys and the fact that they're filming it and not flipping out, it looks like this has probably happened before.
After watching that vid, I'm willing to bet that she is bipolar, either off her meds, or not taking the right meds, and those people know it. If so, I doubt she will see much jail time. And there is not much you can do in that situation. Restraining someone that is manic is not an easy thing to do.
