now you can get to dropping the Quad motor in Satch
BTW there was 1 lager left so it only took 11.
Just read in a magazine today there's a TSB out for all S Series for the Upper Front Engine Mount, something having to do with vibrations while idling so they redesigned the mount I guess. Maybe Goodwrench can clue us in.
any noticeable perf. increase with the new intake?
Hmm I haven't hunted down the TSB's for it I'll have to check into that.
As for the intake aside from increased throttle response I haven't had it on long enough to see any gains.
I put it on right after filling up so next fill up I'll be able to see if there was any MPG increase. I'm hoping to see 40 mpg with this thing.

I think bigfoot is blurry,
that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.

saturn no longer exists therefore any tsb is null and void. besides with that tits intake nothing else matters if people only knew huh?
Well here is the MPG update.
39.7 MPG average!!!!!!
Odds are i could best 40 if wasn't playing with the intake noise the first few days it was in

wait you just filled it up for the first time bastard.....
my car is getting dick for mileage, also shooting smoke out the back at high rpms, but my o2 sensor and other *emissions* equipment are to blame for that.
Good news though, I changed to bosch platinum plugs and let the negative stay unplugged, the car runs 10 times better, no more bogging. (you have to see the plugs that came out)
Well so far after 1/4 tank the outcome for 40+ is looking good.
130.9 mile on 1/4 tank, that puts me at 43.6 mpg so far

That sounds about right. My dad used to get 40mpg when he was commuting 100mi daily to work with his auto SL. We get 29-31 mpg (90%city10%highway driving) in our SL1, probably would get better from the highway if we didn't have to keep it pegged @ 70mph+. One thing to watch for, if your mpg's drop off suddenly you might need a new gascap, our mpg dropped from 29 to 22 in two fillups & the SEL light kept coming on so we figured it was something serious but turned out to be the gascap which cost us a whole $12 installed @ what used to be the local Saturn dealer.
sweet
