Do you seriously check your tire pressure every week?

Yeah. I was never really a fan of the TRD logo, I pretty much just put it on there for @!#$s and giggles. I got the oil cap just for the cap itself, not the logo.

Copter wrote:Do you seriously check your tire pressure every week?

Yeah. I try to check it every weekend along with filling up the windshield washer fluid and checking all the other fluids.

Why not? Sounds like a good owner who cares about her DD and keeps everything in check.

you'd be surprised how long you can make tires last if you keep after the air pressure and rotate them when you are suppose too

Thanks for the backup guys . You would have thought I said I change the oil every week or something totally ridiculous like that, geez.

Like 99redz24 said, it helps the tires last longer and I'll take any help I can get since they're 215/45/18 and replacements won't be cheap. We have an air compressor and digital tire gauge, so checking the tire pressure and airing them up and/or letting air out only takes about five minutes. That's more than well worth it to me. Keeping your tires at the proper pressure also helps with gas mileage, which again is pretty important to me with gas prices what they are these days.

Looks good!

You should get the 194 LED bulbs that DDM Tuning sells as they put out a nice bright white light. I have them on my SUV now and I like them.

Hey hey now, I never said that was a bad thing nor was I jumping down anyones throat I asked a question so ease up. I'm just shocked I never knew anyone that checked it that often. I check mine every oil change (min) and I keep a checker in the glove box and check especially when nice when I get gas. I drive every day on the expressway and know what it can do for your tires, fuel mileage and suspension and wouldn't bash anyone for doing that.

Glad to hear you weren't being negative about it . I plan on having the Vibe for a long time, so I am very anal about maintenance-related things like changing the oil, checking the tire pressure, etc. I want to keep it running and looking good for many years to come.

I like everything about this car. Mods are done tastefully.

Good to see a female driver taking good car of her car. Seems like all the g/f's I had think a car is a fill up and drive device.

You take insanely good care of your car, and mod it quite tastefully and simply. I like that... but I do have to say I hate those custom word 3rd brake light things. You are no exception

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it ! I guess I never posted that I got rid of the 3rd brake light. It seemed like a good idea at the time and was very high quality (custom made by a fellow GenVibe member), but once it was installed, I realized it was too "showy" for my liking and went back to the stock one. I also got rid of the TRD oil filler cap because it got too damn hot and was a PITA to remove without first removing the engine cover.

I actually like it. I love the third brake light and like that it's custom made. Great job!

LOL! Not exactly... I washed it before I installed the wheel covers on New Year's Eve day because the weather was unseasonably warm and dry here in Chicagoland. It's stayed clean ever since because we haven't had any snow, rain, etc., but before I washed it New Year's Eve day, it hadn't been washed for quite some time I'm ashamed to say. It was really nasty. My New Year's resolution is to clean it more often because it obviously looks so much better when it's all nice and clean.
