Got some more work done today. Finished up the cold side charge pipe.

All ready for welding

Hole for the MAF sensor

MAF bung welded on

Access to the MAF sensor

Routing to the intercooler

Start of the hot side pipes, lol

The bumper will need a little trimming, but everything fits really well. I will get some finished pictures of the cold side tomorrow after the paint dries. I am going to modify the washer bottle instead of moving it. Tomorrow I am going to finish what I can for the hot side, paint the intake manifold, and start on the exhaust. We will see how a cavalier exhaust fits. Thanks for looking!

Yeah steel for now. Eventually stainless, something I can weld. I got all this tubing at work so yeah for cheap charge pipes.

Still waiting on the turbo manifold...

Got some work done last weekend. Got as far as I could with the hot side pipe.

BOV placement

Got the cold side painted

And I picked up a new car hauler/winter DD

That Is all. I am going to try and finish the front end and get it back together this weekend. Once I get the turbo manifold It should only take a couple hours to get it going. After I build the exhaust its rock and roll time!!

Yeah I will try the BOV, if it doesn't work I will bite the bullett and get a tial, couple people I talked to aren't having any problems with them so we shall see.

Wow love the progress man. I CANT WAIT to get my cobalt... I'm itching to mod it already and its not even in my driveway yet... hahaha.

And I am jealous. I LOVE Silverados of that generation. I know it's a DD but plan on doing anything to it at all?

It runs!!

Still need to finish the hot side pipe, dumptube, and exhaust but pretty much everything else is complete.

Part of the hot side painted

BOV mounted

Intake mani painted and bolted on

Throttle body and spacer mounted

Intake completed

Completed engine bay!! Soooo glad I stuck to keeping the charge pipes under the car!!

I ended up selling the 70lb injectors and I am running 80lb, should give me room to grow. I am also running the ZZP manifold so I could clock the turbo compressor outlet down. I got a base tune loaded in the car and it fired first try, with no exhaust its pretty loud and the wife isn't too happy lol. I checked for oil leaks and didn't find any. Can't wait to hear the exhaust once finished. Should be in driving condition by next weekend.

The only thing I am doing to the truck is a tune for better mpg and towing. Thanks for looking!

Yeah the yellow was really bad haha, Once I get everything cleaned and get it tuned I think everything will come back off so I can powder coat!

Got some more work done the past few days. We got a puppy on sat so I didnt get everything done that I wanted.

I finished up the Hot side charge pipe and got it installed. So all that is needed is exhaust and get the bumper back on.

Start of the down pipe

More progress

Here is the finished downpipe. Its looks really sweet!

Top down view

View from the top installed

This pic is kinda dark but shows the outlet

I should be able to finish up the exhaust this weekend and possibly take it out for a spin. I started it with just the resonator and it sounds pretty mean. Cant wait to finish!!

Thanks for looking!

Found some pics of the gauge pod I made

Its not a show piece, but it works!!

Finished welding most of the exhaust, still need to weld the hangers on for the muffer and the tip but that should happen tomorrow. Hope to be driving it as well!!

After I get it dyno'd I will be taking the exhaust off and coating it with a techline coating. Worked well on the cav so we shall see how it works on the whole exhaust!! Almost there!!

My welder is starting to take a @!#$, so I will be upgrading soon hopefully!
