The fast cav is my brothers, that will never go away. Going for 500+ here soon. My cav was the ld9 swapped 03 that I got rid of for the cobalt.

LD9 swapped? I haven't seen that much on here. That is like eco-sacrolige.(sp) But I approve considering I love my LD9(though its out of commision atm) How did that turn out? And I can't wait to see numbers on the balt.

Here is the dyno vid.

Video

I don't really feel comfortable going any higher until I at least get pistons (right now I am at 105k). I would like to do a bottom end rebuild this winter if funds will allow but this is my DD so I don't want to get too crazy. But here Is what I may do:

LAP block (gen 2 block with 86mm bore)
Diamond pistons
ZZP rods
Neutral balance shafts
Supertech valve springs
Hardened Oil pump gears
Rotated trans mounts
WOT box or ZZP race computer with launch control (their unlocked stg 3 computer)
some slicks

With all that I could run 450 hp all day with no worries with my current turbo set up. I would also like to get a bb turbo to help keep the center section cool with the DD services, maybe a gt30.

That I my plan in a nutshell, nothing crazy but it won't happen anytime soon. Too many other things going on. Plus a eco swapped s10 extreme with a compound turbo set up sounds better in my book!

Here is a video from the track last week. I need some sticky tires and a different clutch! I was breaking up really badly at the end of 3rd and I did have my other set of plugs. Cant wait to get back and get it down to low 13's

Yeah, something is not good there with your power levels and those times.

Stock clutch with 105k! I should be able to get a high 12sec pass with some sticky tires.

I remember at the 2010 Bash when you smoked the hell out of that clutch down the entire track lol...

Well that happened this past time as well, lol. I have found the more you beat on it the better it holds. Once it cools down I will throw my clutch masters stg 4 in. I will be going to the track next weekend. I am going to try the football suspension mod.

Yum!!

It is up and running, just need to finish the water lines before I can DD it. Already soo much better than the other one. There isn't a whole lot of difference between this and the 57 trim. Everything bolted right back up (downpipe, charge pipes, oil lines, ect..) I will get some logs to see how much sooner the power comes on. Looking like 500rpm sooner. Once I get the clutch installed it will go back to Ryan to see how much we can get out of a 100k + stock lsj!!
