WAAAAAAAAAH Camber WAAAAAAAAAAAAH....

The car is dope.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

I don't drive a Cavalier, nor do I wear my tires too quickly

good one.. quit bitching then..
i know it takes a while for most of the org to open up to new things other than lip kits on cavaliers and minor drops... but in time i have faith for you coming around

Again, I don't own or modify a J body.

It's not about "opening up to new things". Some new things are practical, look good, etc.... some ruin suspension, ride like ass, handle like ass, and eat tires. Therefore make no sense to someone practical like me. My MR2 has a slight bit of negative camber over stock. you know why? The same reason it has RE11's on it, TO HANDLE BETTER. Not to look cool. And when I say slight, I mean a dialed in amount FOR handling, not a crap ton that you can visibly see that 1/4 of the tire doesn't even touch the ground.

all suspension changed has been upgraded... rides and handles better than my cavalier ever would dream of... and if youve moved onto the glorious mr2 why are you still almost instantly replying to threads on jbo?

That is what people just don't get until they ride in a slammed German car, the quality of the components available to them is like nothing we will ever see.

guess a n/a mr2 is just far more superior in all aspects @!#$ it... trading in the mini for another cavalier... then i'll be cool again... right? please?

Re: Drop cars Not bombs (MINI content)

I like the Mini, and he doesnt have a Cavalier, so I dont know why you are ragging on Cavs to get to him because he doesnt even have one anymore. I think the Mini looks great, and a lot of us still like J-bodies for some things also. Obviously the Mini is superior to a J-body, I dont think anyone would argue with that.

I love the pics as well, the camber is a little much, but I can respect the mods and work that went into it, it looks great.

With this logic, you shouldn't be posting here either. Way to make a "point" that doesn't make a lick of sense.

And I never said an NA MR2 is superior. I said slamming your car and yanking the camber out for looks is idiotic on a driver. That's all I said.

Negative camber doesnt wear near as bad people make it out to be. Im running- 5 on the lexus. Get the toe in check and you really don't need to worry much.

Im glad I came back to this thread. I've been looking into getting a mini actually. Sorry to get off topic but do you have any good forums or pointers of things to look for?

More on topic I love the pics, but even im not feeling the camber. Its like you only went for half the hellaflush look.

would like to know what you mean for only going for it "halfway" though

I meant no disrespect. I think the car looks great. Negative camber doesn't bother me. Just for some reason not feeling it on a mini I just meant halfway because of the camber. Usually its done with low offset stretched tires.

oh i didnt take disrespect man! no worries! and ive got the low offset too! 13mm id say is pretty low! just wasnt ready for stretching tires..
next season!
