(fun)ctionality

Cobalt was approaching 100k on the stock clutch, felt peaked on the blower, and any additionals came at a dumb cost with associated upgrades. Plus I'm plain tired of owning coupes, and borrowing other's vehicles to haul more than two people or anything beyond a briefcase.

I didn't hate the Cobalt though, couldn't find another vehicle I wanted to replace it with, so I've sat idle.

Then I did this, LNF, 5-speed, G85/limited slip:

Bought it yesterday morning, took it to the track last night, modded it this morning. I love the damn thing. It's like the Cobalt morphed into a tighter more functional vehicle, which essentially it did.

Swapped the Progress rear swaybar on today, Dejon BPV spring, and already have the GM Stage 1 sensors/pigtails. Prior to that I'll do catless DP, hard pipes, and figure out how to approach the tuning to take advantage of the GM Stage 1 sensors.

I commute 400 miles a week between home and work now, throughout Michigan weather so it is what it is right now.

I'd love to balls to the wall it, but being economical is a must.

It'll make it on regardless of the false feeling it provides right now.

....but in time, very soon it'll be accurate!

I wish they had SS's when I bought my HHR. Hell even Panels would have been nice.

Just happened to be red, ideally wanted silver, but red > black and I actually dig the HHR in red more so than the Cobalt. They had a black one 5 minutes away, but I drove 3 hours for this one.

I'll ask Ryan when I pick up my downpipe, trying to today but they don't like answering phones!

Find it Kevin! Though I'm not going to do much beyond the typical piping and tune to hit my magic number, decided to sell my Progress springs as it's stock ride quality is great to me and sometimes the more I mod things the more I tend to dislike, so trying to put a little money into the right places and not tire myself on the rest. Hell the SS/SC stayed stock until Frank basically gave me his car, including the B&G's/pillowballs. Then it all went to hell from there!

I don't like how they look(though the SS' look a lot nicer) but they are super functional. Congrats bro!
