Auto manufacturers look to all makes and models of successful vehicles both past and present to try and produce a desirable car, there is nothing wrong with that.

Interesting concept. I'll be surprised if something like this makes it to production in this day and age though. Had it sprung up ten years ago, they'd be on the streets, but this is obviously one of those really superfluous cars, one which is "wanted" but never "needed", and the price will likely confirm that. Nice small niche car though.

I'm very interested to see where else this potentially amazing powerplant pops up though. If the LNF is any indication of the potential of turbocharged DI systems, this 3.6 DI tt could hit 600-700hp on the stock fuel system...or more
