The Cavalier's replacement...
Monday, September 12, 2011 10:20 AM
Yup, I got a Lexus. A 1999 SC300 with 117K on her. Well I have a few more pics to post, but I'll do that later since I'm only taking a short study break, but she finally arrived Saturday night. My dad and I washed, waxed, and detailed it yesterday. It's got a few cosmetic blemishes to get fixed (dents in the hood the seller failed to tell us about and the wheel lock key is nowhere to be found, so I have to get one before I plan on wheels) but otherwise, it's a great car so far. Rides smooth and runs great *knock on wood* I plan on adding HIDs, new exhaust, Ksport coilovers, and some staggered 18" wheels (probably 18x9.5 and 18x10) and some other small things, but the mods will be in the future, gotta make some more bank first! C&C welcome! Now I need a new sig and username... lol

I wanted 1 of those before I sold my 4 door but couldn't find 1 at the time so I stayed tru to J-bodies and bought the ztype, but those are sweet project cars beside the Supra's with the 2J engine.

I loved the Cavalier, don't get me wrong. I was just bored with it and I wanted something different and nicer. Plus I got a great deal for it, so I couldn't pass it up.

Nope, it's a non-turbo 2JZ-GE. You are correct on the 400's V8, however. More Pics as promised.

Thanks everyone, glad to get the jbo's approval lol I love it so far, I get a lot more looks in this than the Cavy, so that's fun

You need to get a black one, so we can be twins again, just swapped colors. lol Although you'll probably be lower and change the kit three times... lol

Haha, that SC is ridiculous. I definitely don't have the balls or budget to roll that low. I definitely plan on lowering it and getting some nice wheels, but no camber for me. Just low, tires/wheels flush at the fenders. Low and Slow

I always forget interior shots. Seriously, I had maybe 6 interior pics of the Cavy over the 4.5 years I had her.
