So in my quest for a local, clean, Chevette, I found one about an hour away. Sadly, the guy quit responding to me now that I told him I was ready to pick it up.
But now I've found another T-body I like. A rather rare Buick Opel Coupe (think 510)

Brain, any updates for the org?
Nothing yet, just collecting parts. Have my choice between shells, made offers on both, and both turned them down. It's been a few months, so maybe I'll make the same offers again, since they are still for sale. lol. I have a stock LD9 for it, found a header that should work (S2000 header with a flange swap), radiator and fuel system. Kicking myself for passing up a deal of a lifetime on a trans and rear axle, but just didn't have the cash at the moment. There is even a deal on a bellhousing right now, but don have the cash.
I'm going to try and sell he drag cav shell, free up some cash, plus a bunch of my cavi parts. If everything sold, I'd have way more than enough cash for this project. lol

DO IT! If I could find a Chevette locally that isn't a total rust bucket I'd have done something similar a long time ago. But seriously, if you try using OEM engine management in a car that doesn't require emissions, I'd have to drive out to the midwest just to smack you

I'd love the hood, and maybe dash..... I like the gen before light setup, so the fenders wont work for me, and kinda torn on the bumper....
