I didnt even start shaping the vent yet. Thats last after everything on the face of the skirt is level.

I really hope you are able to round out the cut out like it is on the red skirts you showed a pic of. You definitely are putting a lot of work into making your own side skirts, so I don't want to bash, but that cut out really doesn't look good to me as-is.

I too think it does not look the best, but I do think you will get it looking tits when finished. Very nice and glad to see your getting closer to finishing.

JL I would hope you wouldnt like the way the vent looks as is, its not even started on yet really.. I still have to shape that entire section. Right now my focus is getting the face of the skirt mold as level as posslbe. Once that is achieved I will shape the vent and then shape the inside portion that lines up agains the rocker panel... An old saying I always try to obide by is "Rome wasnt built in a day" and see what I can accomplish every day I step into the shop...

Worked on the vent area of the skirt today. Got alot more shaping to do, but its starting to look like something

Its been 2 weeks.. think its update time

I havent worked on it for about a week, but this is where I left off! I been tremedously busy lately

Hopefully saturday I will have time to spray this with Gelcoat and get the reverse mold started..

Thanks bro! Your one of my only fans here on JBO LMAO!! Well I just performed some maintence.. Royal purple oil change, Denso iridium spark plugs and performed a Seafoam treatment. Installed a new 2.5" Borla stainless steel catback exhaust system aswell with resonator delete.. Car runs amazing now and I love the gains I feel after the combination of everything above mentioned

I am reading this to, Just am more of a lurker. Glad to see someone doing a Sentra like that right. Most of them are either boring or rice city
