oh, trust us, we know
Actually...they do. Front Diff's failing is quite common for these cars..hence why people swap in 4.11's. 4.44's or a 5MT/6MT.
She lives.
Running Full exhaust now. that video was with Open Headers.
Not that any of you care, but I've been gone for some time..and things have changed w/ the car.
I moved to FL in August, sheared teeth out of the front diff. It was down for 4 months while a friend from WI came down and fixed it.
Fast forward to a month ago. Brakeband fails, causing me to only have 1st and 3rd. Drove that for a week, and now I have a 98 Outback 4.44 transmission in. All is swell.
almost bought a 92 svx .. but ill pass.. parts are hard to come by. lol and i dont like the idea of only being able to use ground controls.
svx are junk imo. those are just a few of the many problems. outback is a much better car.
not once you put a 5sp from a wrx in it..

That, and along with coilovers are my next big purchase
so ground controls? i read that those are basically your only option without going 100% custom/
We can't use the Koni/GC option anymore since Koni discontinued the inserts.
Well it's been a fun run...but I'm selling the SVX. It's just impractical for my new job. I can't fit my photography equipment in it. Here are some updated pictures of it.
