Will do!
I'm hoping with my tax return money, I can pick up the car I have my eye on. I have a stock LD9 in my driveway that needs a crank kit, and new gaskets, that will go in for the time being. I have a second block that will get put on a stand, and start the slow parts gathering process for.
Working on a swap project right now for a friend of mine. Putting an EcoTec into a 1930's Hupmobile Custom Hotrod. Some of what I'm doing there, will help me with my project when I get to it. Just finished a Turbo 3400 swap into a '88 Fiero GT clone (and '99 N-body ECM swap).

Brad you'd have to head over to ecotecforum.com to see the hump mobile pics.
Brad, when I get a chance, I'll start a thread here for both projects. The fiero hit the dyno a few weeks ago, mild tune, 6psi, it put 200hp to the wheels. The hup we're looking at about 225-250whp for now, more once he decides to drop the S/C and go Turbo.

Those are two different cars, of the same make/model..... The before/after was to show what the original car looked like, compaired to his "version" of the car. Both are owned by him, and sat facing eachother at the WOW show

Just pulled the car off the trailer.....
1980 Chevette. 4 speed, 2 door hatch.
Starts and runs, body in pretty good shape, just needs tires and brake work (master is shot)
Now to get it road worthy enough to take over DD duty from the GTO. Once the GTO is back up to par, I'll start on the engine swap in the Chevette.

I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
Torn on which front I should run with.....
Stock with the bumpers shortened and tucked.....
Or Euro/Aussie front.....
Anyone have some 4x100 rims/tires laying around they want to donate? lol

Aussi front, then tucked, then stock. In that order depending how hard parts are to get.
There's a place, out of Germany I think, that makes full C/F replacement parts for the front. Hood, fenders, Rad Support, Lower Airdam...... Just don't think I can justify to the wife spending twice what I spent on the car, on replacement cosmetic parts..... lol

Might have to look into that!
