Its not as bright as it shows up (on my screen at least)
Yes the Z sat outside, no room in the shop with pieces of multiple trucks scattered everywhere.

I have a cover for it, but where it is sitting is a wind tunnel so i'm sure it would be worse with a cover than without. Besides snow is just cold rain not like i'm driving it on the salted roads.

Its just the beads that were machined so they look the same except with a slightly different contour and overall diameter. I will try remember to upload pictures later.

Crossing my fingers to be able to give updates soon
It looks like i should have some time to work on it this week. Most of the time will likely be spent on wiring, so there wont be any pics of that. I do hope to get a bit of exterior assembly done as well. If that happens there will be pictures.

One more picture for now. The colour seems to show more accurately (on my screen at least) than the previous pictures did. I think i am really going to like how this turns out- i always seem to have some doubts as projects are coming together It still needs a lot of reassembling, but it kind of looks like a truck again. I think even just putting the headlights and doors back on as well as building the polished stainless front bumper will make a big difference again.

My brother was trying to talk me into something similar. I think i will drive it first for a bit and try photoshop a logo onto the doors to see if i like it later.

i think schwann's would be a better fit for the truck and the color than chiquita.

^^ Nah, that's off white (which I thought this truck was going to look more like), but the actual paint color is pretty much banana yellow.

Freakin' Awesome!!!! Can't wait to see this finished!!
and the Schwans logo font would fit the old school style of the truck.
