4 link irs, 52/48 weight distribition, 4 wheels discs in 90, (don't see that on fbody's). my cars 16 years old and has a better chassis than 99% of the cars than have been made since then. and a 89 fbody will never out handle a 240 mod for mod won't happen. put 500 hp in your car and i'll do the same and we'll see who's is faster all around.

That is a pretty sweet looking civic, I like it 100% better than the current generation. I'll reserve my final judgement until I see one in person though, but from what I can tell from the photos it looks like something I wouldn't mind driving every day...

you cant equate handling to lateral g numbers, because they dont mean squat. how a car handles in transition and on variable surfaces, and it on-limit characteristics are what "handling" IS.
you f-body "handles" like a wet log.... just as wooden as the rest of the car.
the 240 out handles it any day of the week. even a modded f-body versus a stock 240, the 240 will still outhandle it. why? because thats what it was designed to do. the f-body? wasnt designed to do anything except fit a v8 because most american car lovers wont respect anything else.

A 240 will out handle a fbody any day (mod for mod). a fbody is a better drag car. a 240's are ugly, fbodys are ugly, dsms are ugly we can all deal with that. Let us all understand what are cars are good at, my car is meant for drag racing. the 240 is meant for drifting, fbodys are meant for making alot of smoke from the tires. none of the cars are the best in ANY class, and none of the cars are better than any other in ALL of the classes.
and borsty, you always brag about the 350 hp engine you will have next year, you brag more abut what you will have then what i do have.

one car being faster around a track does not mean it handles better... it just means its faster. obviously a stock ws6 will be faster around a track than a stock 240sx. however the same driver will also notice the better balance and handling attributes of the 240.
now take the same cars on a country road with changing road surfaces, ripples and camber changes in corners, and the ws6 will show its sloppy body control, its loose disconnected steering, and while it will generate larger cornering loads due to its emphasis on pulling lateral g's on a smooth circle, it will snap into oversteer when the limits are breached due to its suspension design. the 240 will connect the driver better to the road and be much more fluid and easy to place, easily correcting over and understeer with the throttle or steering, and be much more enjoyable and easier to hustle.

You need to visit a local SCCA meet and check out some of the F-Bodies. At least here there are a lot of F-bodys at the SCCA meets that handle very good!

really? oh sorry theres no scca here. even still when i go to autocrosses there are always f-body's doing well... there is a convertible that i really like that is driven very well by its driver... but the car still doesnt handle well.
sort of like the cavalier.. it can be driven well and become a very competitive car... but it still handles like crap. it has grip and can be thrown around, and you can drive around its inadequacies... but in the end it sitll doesnt handle well.

after next winter, after i completed phase two of project TA(suspension) my car WILL outhandle, out accelerate, and out brake all of your cars. and look 10x better while doing it.

lol ok, your cars hot looking and mine is ugly. (even thought they are both 2 door red hatchbacks wiht flip up llights and stock bodykit, iwth the same genearal appearence.) they dont look exactly the same but they are very similar. And when you get your phase to and your 350 hp, that will be awesome. I dont doubt that youll do it, people doubted me and i did it so i dont doubt other people. not sure how much your car weights but 350 hp would be a good run for my money im sure, im guessing i have around 350 hp myself (some of the dsm guys look in my reg and help me out, ive been wanting to know, im tuned for 20 psi on 110. Some people have told me 300hp, and some around 375, but the dsm guys are pretty smart on here from what ive seen. and i will only be faster when i do my internals and 100 shot. THen i think i will go for suspension and build my drivline up more. (would have done suspension first, but i got the parts listed in my furture mods list very cheap and i never pass up cheap good parts. (also dsm guys what would get an ideal suspension set up for my car, i would ask people at dsmtuners but they wou dall just flame me for having my car built with a 20g wihtout doing any suspension work)
and borsty what are you building your car for anyway? just raw power, 1/4 mile?
