For what it is, I don't think it looks that bad. I mean I would take it over the HHR, Vibe, Matrix, Aerio, PT, etc.
Thing is I don't like it now has something to do with Mitsubishi, I don't trust Mitsu's reliability at all.
Good thing though there might be AWD in the horrizon though.

I like it. If they offer the turbo version with an automatic like they do in the PT Cruiser that would very likely be my next car. I agree that it does look a little too truck-like, but I find that to be a good thing.

Why in the world would dodge replace a sport compact with a crossover vehicle? It just doesn't make sense, they finally get a car that young people reallt like and they decide to get rid of it.

Mitsu and chrysler have worked together for a long time on many cars. They can't bring each other down in any respects as their so similar in quality and build.

The EVO will have a Dodge version, with extensive Chrysler involvement in engineering in the two door version. The four door will be primarily worked on by Mitsubishi engineers, though members of the Neon ACR team are helping them, thanks to their strong rally and SCCA success.

^^^BUT HOLY @!#$, does this qoute mean theres going to be a 2 door evo.?? As that would be big news to many people that have been waiting for a evo engine and drivetrain in an attractive 2 door body..
But it will also mean clueless dodge technicians having to use the book to work on a mitsu engine and tranny w/ a "dodge" badge. Just like now.

I agree, Chrysler started coming out with some new things and were making some trends as opposed to following them like the other domestics. They had there hemi SUV's, SRT versions, 300c etc. Some prety sweet rides.

Now they came out w/ that fugy 4 door charger, this "neon", and say they want to eliminate 2 door cars. WTF, sounds like there going backward again IMO.
