:::I have acouple vids but have no where to host::: any one wanna help?

Alright well i was able to take the vette out a little longer since the last time i posted. Well first off, it is my dad's not mine. (im still saving for my g35 coupe) now onto to the car:

2005 C6 Vette 6 Speed
- LS2 400 HP 400 TQ 6.0L V8

- Z51 Suspension Package
- 18s in the front 19s in the back upgraded to polished rims
- Upgraded Brakes and Tires (Eagle F1 SuperCar tires)

-Removable top same color as car, also ordered a clear top

The car only has 124 miles on it so its not broken in yet, (needs to be at 500 before you can go over 55 mph recommended)

The lines of the car are much more impressive in person, everything just seems to flow. The headlights look mean as hell when lit up. I love the new key system, or should i say Keyless. As long as you have the key in your pocket, you wont have to do anything with it. The car will sense the key and when you press the finger pad(cause there is no handle) to pop the door it opens. If someone trys the same and does not have the key fob, the door will not open. After your in, the seats hug you perfectly. The gauge cluster is nicely lit and very well laid out.

There is no ignition to put the key in, once again. The car will recognize the key/fob is inside the car and with your foot on the clutch and a press of a button the car fires up.
The tone is nice, not too loud but a nice purr. Im trying to get my dad to order the Corsa Exhaust system for it!

Once driving, it just doesnt want to stop. Every gear keeps on pulling, granted i havent really gotten on it. The heads up display is sick. It projects your speedo/rpm to the windshield. It also has different modes. Track Mode 1 gives you an on windshield display of your RPM/ Speed/ Temp/ and which i really think is cool.... G FORCE!

It sails through turns like nothing. Man i cant wait till its broken in.... 375 more miles to go!
To shut it down, you put the stick into reverse position and press the button again to turn the car off. (*i have a vid of this)

To get out you push a button on the door and the door pops open ( i have a vid of this)

All in all i love this car and cant imagine what the z06 will be like.

Who do you think will win this one haha:

the clear top is the center removable top , they either come painted or clear(tinted)

sweet car , the trac control sucks on the according to car tech , they had a good write up in popular hotrodding

the C6 runs times = to the base C5 cause of the trac control , and they didnt gain but like 1 hp with a after market exhaust so they put the stock catback on it

im still not sold of the whole keyless thing

i do love the way they look

The keyless is sweet, especially when its finished on our Sunfire.

I got to sit in one of these at the Vette museum in Ky, nice improvment over the C5s in my opinion.

Puuurty car
I know GM say go 500 miles for the break-in. But that car is will reward you better in long-term with 1000 miles. I know-I know, but its worth the wait. Another tip change the oil at 1000 miles, then 3K, 6K, etc... . A car like that deserves all the pampering.

If I had to to complain anything on this car, is the whole locking mechanism. That ignition thing is very similar to the Mercedes-Benz's "Keyless-Go."
GM had this feature back in the 90's but it only controlled the doors at the time, not ignition.
Personally I dislike the the button on the doors, but it is a nice thing to show-off to your passengers.
Knowing how I am, I would be using the (manual) door handle located on the floor.
If I am correct, there is a manual override ignition on the glove box just in case the ignition button fails.

Happy, safe trails!
