Body Kit for Hyundai Accent 96
Wednesday, February 16, 2005 12:22 PM
Hi guys, I'm having a bit of a problem... I've bought a 96 Hyundai Accent, and of course I'd like to put on a body kit. But no manufactors seem to have them. I've found one in Germany, but of course I would like to see some alternatives.. Can you help me find a body kit for a small Korean car??? Thanks a lot...

BTW nice to see someone with another Accent! E-mail me if you have any questions about her, I've learned lots off of mine. No companys make intakes for our cars, but you can make one out of the stock air box

any j-body owner putting down any other car cements their ignorance and stupidity. the accent is actually a decent car, not exactly a road burner....actually it not a road burner at all but what it lacks in HP it makes up in fun and performance. i have a friend that tosses one around in road courses and twisty back roads and it's a blast. not fast but fun.
crapaliers are the same to me, not fast but fun. they are faster than an accent but i don't think anyone here was claiming accents are better, just where to get a body kit. all crapalier are every bit as unreliable and prehistorically engineered as a 1996 Huyndai accent. so to put one down only proves your a moron.

Actually.... they are inherently worse in relabilty than a cavalier. Whats the value of a 96 Accent.... about the same as a body kit for it. Which can be said for alot of J's. Which in any case my comment stays the same. Putting that kind of money in a car that old, built that cheaply is just a waste. Same with cavaliers.

ehhh...i tend to disagree with your statement. i know quite a few folks who have been successful longterm Hyundai owners.

not to mention, these suckers are great on the autox course...i know someone who runs his in amateur autox in Georgia, and he's been pretty pleased with his results. i can't say the same for the guy who ran his cav this summer in DC...

Mine's built fairly well, no dash noises unlike most newer J's, but it's hard to wax my hood without denting it a few times but overall it hasn't been a bad car and I've had her for over a year, and NOTHING has EVER went wrong with it, the only thing I ever had to replace was a bulb, so yeah, they're better than most people think, better than they used to be, like late 80's early 90's, WAY better.

I saw a whole bunch of sick ass Accents on one of those hyundai forums. Guys running 16.9's stock then going turbo and body kits and rims...some really nice looking rides. IMO. They even have Cams from korea for those cars, and headers....probably as much aftermarket if not more than the J.

Accents are underestimated, they actually can be pretty awsome. They come with everything standard, and you can actually get a lot of stuff for them.
And if that's not enough you can always put another engine in them, that'll give 'em the kick they need for them to peform...
and themarin8r those forums were pretty nice ha??

Yeah KORE motorsport seems to have some serious Korean Spec parts for these cars. What other Hyundai forums are there out there. i'd like to see some more turbo'd accents.

Comming from the kid with the primer black base model!

And what does age have do with the car I drive?
I bought it new when I was 18. It's paid off and runs great , why get rid of it?

And I am 26, learn how to add little boy.

i guess that whole thing flew right over your head. for one yea i have a primer base model, and 2 other cars......

for two your driving a cavalier! the idea of you making fun of someone younger than you for driving aNY other car its just funny, do you get it now? your car sucks too.
