I went to the Gatorade Duel today here in Daytona..there was all the usual manufacturers outside the track...including Chevy of course..well I finally got to see the Cobalt SS first hand....I like the seats...darn comfy....and there's even a good bit of room in the back. I was really tickled cuz we were able to start it. I ended up flirting a bit with the chick who was in charge of the area and talked her into getting the key.....Awesome..very awesome...It has a great exhaust note, and the S/C really sounds good. I didn't have my digital...CRAP!...but I decided to snap a few with my camera..sure they are not that good and there's only like 3, but hell im excited...I really want one of these now. Everyone else is drooling over the new C6 convertible sitting there and im all over a Cobalt..HA, go figure. The last pic is of the new Malibu Extreme...pretty hot lookin' if you ask me. I wish I could have gotten better pics...If I had the digicam I would just go back tomorrow.

i really wish GM would do something to the ecotec engine to make it appear a little bit more like a performance engine. While nothing says performance like the supercharger sitting next to it, the engine itself is very plane. I mean most people are going to want to see under the hood of the SS S/C/, i would sure like it to look alot better. I mean even some kinda plastic cover like the GTPS have or something. Just not an aluminum head sticking their, plane as day.

Hah, took the words right outta my mouth. If those are projectors, they're not very attractive. Maybe its the quality of the pic, but it looks like it was just a headlight cover placed over the stock headlight.

Speaking of Turbo ECOtec ....guess wqhat I have pictures of....again camera phone quality...but I did not see this motor on display the other day. It's the Turbo version in the NHRA sport compact cavy. Nice CF cover as well..I would like to see one of those produced. BIG ASS TURBO & BIG ASS WASTEGATE....you can see how far that frickin gate sticks out..I mean holy wow..it caught my eye before the turbo did. I walked up on it and out loud I just blurted to myself "That's a big motherfacking wastegate!" I got a funny look or 2. ...god this stuff gives me a hardon.
